Maxon One shines with the new Fall Update. Cinema 4D 2024 is better than ever – with massive performance improvements, the addition of Rigid Body simulations to the Unified Simulation System and brand-new features for Pyro. In addition, it now features enhanced integration with Adobe Substance 3D materials, faster and easier file exchange with Unreal and glTF animation import. Redshift offers more creative freedom when using the MatCap and Distorter shaders as well as performance improvements on multi-core CPUs.
With Trapcode 2024, you can now create realistic thermal dynamics thanks to the Particular Fluid Dynamics simulation extension and create particle tracks with Stroke from Parent. VFX 2024 opens up a new dimension in lighting control and includes several enhancements to the popular Real Lens Flares. With Magic Bullet 2024, color correction is easier than ever – plus a host of new presets give you more creative freedom. Universe 2024 supports two additional languages and offers new Capsule presets.
ZBrush 2024 shines with updates to the Anchors Brush, giving users new ways to manipulate meshes, makes Cinema 4D noises available in ZBrush and more.
Cinema 4D 2024 delivers unmatched speed and performance for your most demanding creative scenes. Rigid body simulations now interact with all existing forces, pyro, fabrics and soft bodies. Collision detection of Rigid bodies has been enhanced, with new settings to define when they should rest. Additionally, new damping behaviors allow for more control over simulated objects.
Pyro now offers more precise controls for artists to art direct their simulation and ensure it matches their vision. By adding the Pyro tag to standard particle emitters, thinking particle geometries and matrix cloners, they can now emit Pyro. With the latest update, even deforming meshes can now emit Pyro, drastically expanding artistic possibilities. And the new Vertex Normal tools offer you unparalleled precision for perfect surfaces.
Improvements to the Project Asset Inspector and updated Exchange Support make it easier than ever to collaborate with others: Simply drag and drop Adobe Substance 3D materials directly into Cinema 4D and use them with Redshift, send Cinema 4D files to Unreal more easily or use the Project Asset Inspector to manage fonts, node assets and colors in your C4D projects with ease.
Forger now brings the popular ZRemesher to your mobile Sculpting experience. Retopologize your meshes intuitively using the full feature set of the popular feature from ZBrush, all on your iPad. Forger has added Viewport effects, as well as a shift in default material (Blinn → PBR), which helps you to improve your workflow to achieve a more realistic artwork.
The latest version of Forger includes a well-rounded set of new tools. The new Sketch Sculpt Brush lets you easily create new shapes, new Sweep and Lathe tools add new modeling capabilities to Forger and we added a new lighting toolset that now includes Area and IES lights. We have added tools for rounding out harsh bevels, modeling round details and Forger now supports hierarchies, making it easy to organize your creations.
The latest updates for Red Giant include updates to our Trapcode, Magic Bullet, VFX and Universe toolsets. Trapcode 2024 allows you to create realistic thermal dynamics thanks to the Particular Fluid Dynamics Simulation extension. VFX 2024 opens up a new dimension in lighting control and includes several enhancements to the popular Real Lens Flares.
With Magic Bullet 2024, color correction is easier than ever – plus a host of new presets give you more creative freedom. And Universe 2024 offers a great number of new presets.
Redshift 3.5.19 introduced additional adjustment parameters to the MatCap shader, allowing users to prepare beautiful illustrative renders from their own digital sketches and quickly create simple, stylized renderings. Thanks to the Distorter node now featuring 3D distortion using Maxon Noise, bump maps can now be distorted.
Additionally, Redshift CPU performance has been improved on systems with at least 12 CPU threads. And Redshift in Blender now supports the Jitter Node, which allows to quickly vary shader attributes across a large number of assets. Thanks to an updated Substance Node in Cinema 4D, the workflows between C4D and Redshift have been streamlined in Redshift 3.5.22. Simply import Substance materials in Redshift for C4D without the need for complex node setups.
Additionally, we’re continuing our efforts towards enabling real-time workflows with Redshift RT, a Redshift render mode focused on using hardware-accelerated raytracing on capable graphics cards for interactive results and rendering scenes in real-time speeds.
ZBrush is the industry standard digital sculpting software. The latest version features an updated Anchors Brush system which provides an intuitive way to deform meshes by applying anchors onto a mesh while allowing for actions to be performed. The Knife Brushes gain increased design dexterity with a Split to Parts feature set allowing parts to be cut off and retained. Insert Mesh brushes are now compatible with Stroke menu options providing a wild range of visual possibilities.
Designing surface details and adding secondary elements to models is now more easily achieved with the Repeat to Similar functionality, and the new DragStamp stroke option helps to advance surface details while buttons like Crease UnMasked and Uncrease UnMasked set the stage for dynamic edge control. The Gizmo and Transpose functions include topology masking for both tools while allowing snapping on perfectly masked areas.
The Gizmo is now capable of snapping to the center of masked regions, and the addition of Cinema 4D noises provide robust methods for detailing assets. ZBrush provides access to diverse workflows and limitless creative possibilities.
